Can COVID-19 Vaccine Trigger Allergic Reactions?

In December 2020, the FDA approved vaccines – Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna to tackle the COVID-19 situation. Till now, over 30 million people have at least received a single shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.

As soon as the vaccines were available, they’re some rumors all over the internet. According to the words, these medicines have some allergic reactions. However, the experts have reported that the vaccines have some mild-effects like fever, fatigue, chills, and headaches, but nothing much serious. All of these side-effects are easily treat/prevent Covid-19 with over-the-counter medicines.

According to the reports, “Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is 95 percent effective at preventing COVID-19, while Moderna two doses vaccines are 94 percent effective.”

Right now, we have no reports of severe side-effects, so the best you can do is get a shot without trusting the rumors. But if you have diabetes, heart patient or pregnant, and have some concerns about the COVID-19 vaccines, the best you can do is talk to your health care provider. Your doctor can help you know whether you should get a shot or not. Also, if you’re experiencing some significant side-effects after getting your first shot, reach out to your healthcare provider immediately.

It is necessary as both vaccines are not 100% effective, and there’s no firm evidence of how they’ll react to your body. If you still have some concerns about the COVID-19 vaccines, stay tuned to the free prescription discount card blog!
